Broadcast environments leave little room for friction, especially when coverage, coordination, and delivery all need to move at newsroom speed.
This was a three-day production built around a specific editorial assignment tied to the 44th CARICOM summit in The Bahamas. The scope went beyond general event coverage. The story required an interview with a panelist or country representative, a resident SOT on the Haitian situation, and B-roll of Haitian communities in New Providence.
The challenge was to gather the right material quickly and structure the handoff cleanly. Every decision in the field had to support scripting, review, and final delivery without slowing down the newsroom process.
